Bookmania

I discovered Bookmania during my final year at college and decided to perform a typographic analysis on this font in order to better understand its nuances and history. Developed in 2001 by Mark Simson, Bookmania is “a new revival of an old classic.” It is based off the old Bookman styles and contains over 3,000 glyphs per weight. Bookmania is a masterpiece that offers many different styles and endless combinations. This booklet is a result of my studies. Designed to present the history of Bookmania, what makes it unique, and its versatility in design.
